Do I need to be a registered NDIS participant to use Care About Me?

You need an active NDIS plan to use our services. We work with plan-managed, self-managed, and NDIA-managed participants.

If you're unsure how your plan is managed, our team can help you work it out before services begin — there's no cost for this initial chat.

Is Care About Me a registered NDIS provider?

Care About Me PTY LTD (ACN 697 218 090) was registered as a Victorian proprietary company on 16 April 2026. NDIS Commission registration is currently in progress — we operate across both Verification-tier (Household Tasks) and Certification-tier services (Personal Care, Support Coordination, Community Access, Respite).

You can verify a provider's status any time on the NDIS Commission "Find a Registered Provider" register.

How much do NDIS services cost?

All our services are charged at rates aligned with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits 2025–26 (v1.1). You won't be charged more than the NDIA-published rate for your service type, and we provide clear written service agreements before any work begins.

Standard weekday hourly rates for each service are set by the NDIA and vary by support category — contact us and we'll walk you through the line items relevant to your plan.

How do I start using Care About Me services?

It's a four-step process:

1. Say hello — call 0448 822 736, email hello@careaboutme.com.au, or fill in the enquiry form below.
2. Meet-and-greet — a free, no-obligation conversation to understand your plan and goals.
3. Match your team — we introduce you to trained, screened support workers you're comfortable with.
4. Begin — services start on your schedule, with regular check-ins to adjust as life changes.

Are your support workers trained and screened?

Yes. Every worker in a risk-assessed role holds a current NDIS Worker Screening clearance (valid for 5 years), is trained in the NDIS Code of Conduct, and has relevant qualifications for their service area (e.g. Certificate III in Individual Support for personal-care workers).

We also provide ongoing training in manual handling, incident reporting, and participant rights.

What happens if something goes wrong?

We follow the NDIS Commission's incident-reporting framework. Reportable incidents (serious injury, abuse, unauthorised restrictive practice, etc.) are reported to the Commission within 24 hours. All other incidents and complaints are investigated and responded to within 5 business days.

You can also raise concerns directly with the NDIS Commission at ndiscommission.gov.au or by calling 1800 035 544.
